Jewelry of the month. Jewelry is one of those accessories that you cannot have enough of. A simple black dress can be completely transformed by a statement necklace or a fantastic pair of dramatic earrings. For daytime, all you might need is a great colourful bracelet. The one constant that all of my jewelry has, is the fact that before a piece is admitted into my collection, I have to love it. Otherwise, I’ll never wear it.
As I’ve probably mentioned in previous posts, during the summer months when the mercury is rising, I like light and delicate pieces that don’t weigh me down. Some pieces like my vintage watch, however, are always a staple. Also, I believe that one can never go wrong with a classic pair of earrings. A pair of hoops, in an unusual shape, is always an elegant choice for day or night.
The most recent addition to my collection is a Pandora bracelet from their new line. The beads I received are very meaningful to me and they act as a daily talisman, reminding me of what my goals in life are. I like to pair it with a lovely green bracelet I received from the Love13 Collection, which has fast become a special piece.
I’m a sucker for a great ring and an open heart is ideal for summer. It’s light, easy and one can never go wrong with a few more hearts in their life. Whenever it catches my eye, it just makes me smile and that’s what I believe all jewelry should do. As far as I’m concerned, jewelry should make you happy.
