Birthday resolutions. This past year has been a tough one for me, some doors have closed (slammed shut) others have opened. Lots of change and exciting plans for the future. So rather than save my resolutions for New Years Eve I am making them today, on November 4th, my birthday…..
I saw this on a blog I follow, PreppyandFunny, (great site check it out) and just knew I had to steal it….. (hey full disclosure here). I am taking this statement into my heart and keeping it close.
My birthday resolutions:
This year I resolve to choose paths that make me happy, I will not be afraid to try new things and to make big decisions. Adventure will be my new middle name. This is a big world full of discoveries and I will explore them all (well as many as I can but that just doesn’t sound very poetic). Most importantly I will not apologize for my decisions or explain them (well maybe to my husband). This is a new me and as I begin this next year I will live it in full sparkle!

I have always used the excuse that resolutions should begin on one’s birthday to avoid making them for the New Year holiday… now that I read your post, I might actually have to think about resolutions of my own when the next milestone occurs.
