Style Journal Weekly Chic

style journal

Style journal. A while back I did a review of Parisian Chic by Ines de la Fressange and Sophie Cachet. Since it’s one of my secret fashion bibles, I’ve been regularly checking  to see if I can download it on my ipad. That way it will always be with me wherever I go. Unfortunately at this point it doesn’t seem to be online…Sigh. It’s just one of the little things I keep around that remind me to stay chic.

Recently though, while I was on my search I stumbled upon the Parisian Chic weekly planner. Of course I just had to have it! It came a few days ago and sadly although I’ve missed January there are still 11 months left and I’m really excited to discover everything that it has to offer.  What sets this little gem apart are the weekly  posts. Each week Ines de la Fressange throws in some great fashion and styling tips. I’m trying really hard not to cheat but I’ve gone back and read through January!

Resolution - Copy

Even for those of us who don’t really believe in resolutions, it is a New Year and we can definitely approach it with a fresh outlook. This quote really sets the tone for future months and I’m planning on adopting it for each season to come. I will wait and see and then plan ahead. This brings me to the next tip:

Dream Bag - Copy

Love this. To put it simply, plan ahead. I’m sure all of us have that bag or pair of shoes that we are just lusting after… so why not start saving now? For the most part these things aren’t going anywhere and if they are gone, well then it was probably just a passing trend and we’re better off without them, aren’t we?

Scarves - Copy

This is one of my personal faves. I’ve never thought to twist my scarves together. I’m thinking that they’ll probably have to be fairly thin otherwise that’s just way too much fabric…. All I know is that I’m now going to go check out the men’s department. Who knew?

Valentines - Copy

This is a sneak peek tip that I’m dedicating to all of you wonderful people who stop by my blog! I think a great dinner is in order regardless of whether you have a partner or not and a dream gift is most definitely deserved!

What are your tips for staying chic? Do you have a style journal?

  26. I love the idea of a Dream Bag Fund! Too many people think that designer bags are far out of their reach, and of course it’s not something everyone can afford like it’s nothing, but I love the idea of saving for something you want badly. I think you will enjoy buying and having that bag even more when you save for it!
    xoxo, Sam
