Photography: Between Dusk And Dawn

photography

Photography. Night photography is the one that transforms a regular city view into a beautiful and magical place. Something photographed at night always has a mysterious air that can be felt just by looking at the picture. Between dusk and dawn, the urban views and the landscapes, the lights and the water are all different. Our nighttime friends, the stars and the moon, can only be captured at night when the world is dark. Inspiring photographs of the stars and the moon make the world a more beautiful place. Take for instance, the ever popular images of one of the world’s greatest cities taken by many a New York photographer. Without them, what would millions of people set as wallpapers on their computers or on their mobile phones?

When looking at  night photographs, you can always feel that perfect cocktail of distinct sensations. For example, city views emit both, a silence that perfectly matches the dark and a bustling roar that matches the brilliant lights of daytime. In this kind of a photo, you can easily observe that the city sleeps and lives, at the same time.

Our lives are full of yin and yang, whether it is fire and water or chocolate and vanilla. There is always an absolute contrast. Day and night and their representations of dark and light, are both amazing in their own right. This difference between them makes the night special and attractive to some photographers, who prefer it to the day. Even if it is more complicated to take photographs when it’s dark, the result is always spectacular.

Do you love night photography?

  6. Dusk/night photography is definitely I have not master yet. I feel like as a fashion blogger, the coming dusk is always my enemy. As in: “sh*t the sun is about to go down, we need to hurry and finish taking the pictures” lol
