L’Oreal Colour Riche. This post, lips and applied caterpillars is for my sister. A while back we were emailing, as she lives on the other side of the country and that can make communication rather difficult and this is what she sent me:
“I know that you like your department store brands but I have a product to recommend to you! It’s L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain. It’s a mouthful but the stuff is awesome and cheap. And the colours are great. I bought one called “Pink Rebellion”, it stays on all day. I think you’ll like it. The applicator is a little ‘squished caterpillar’ but you can’t beat the price. Give it a go.”
Well I laughed when I read her description of the applicator but she’s absolutely right! Since I recently bought a pink lipstick, my choice was #190 Endless Red. It goes on very smoothly and stays on all day. I even had it on, very faintly, when I went for my run this morning. It definitely acts as the perfect stain because even after the run it hadn’t budged.
As with most stains, I find it to be a little bit drying but one swipe of my current favourite lip moisturizer, Elizabeth Arden Lip Protectant Stick with SPF 15, and my lips felt great. My favourite aspect of this lip stain is its layering capabilities. I was able to use exactly as much as I needed.
All in all I can definitely say that my sister knows a great find when she sees it! Thanks sis!
