Drugstore Vs High End Lipstick
Let’s talk about drugstore lipsticks versus high end ones. I have to admit that while I’ve been able to streamline most of my cosmetics to just the essentials, lipstick hasn’t been on that last. I don’t know what it is about a great lipstick but it can turn my mood around. When I reach for a red I feel more daring and sophisticated. A pink makes me feel like having fun and dancing all night. The big question is, however, is it worth it to spend the extra money on a high end department store brand? Perhaps a collection of drugstore brand lipsticks is all you need.

I don’t think we’ll ever have enough lipsticks..or makeup for that matter, either…and I sure love me a good splurge, though I don’t think it’s always necessary. My fave ones to splurge on: YSL but good average MAC lispsticks are always worth the investment.

That’s totally cool. Whatever works for you is the right way to go! I didn’t start buying pricier makeup until I got a full time job. The secret is to sign up at makeup counters because you never know if they might not be handing out great samples!

Great Vlog!! Can we ever have enough lipstick?!? lol! I find myself somewhere in the middle…I don’t think it’s completely necessary to splurge on high end lipstick but I do find that drugstore lipsticks dry out my lips. And they’re never pigmented enough for my skin tone. I’ve been dying to try out Tom Ford lipsticks but I’m hesitant to order because I’m scared I won’t like the colour. I never buy lipstick without trying it on first.
