Must try clarifying charcoal mask. If you’re a regular to my blog, you’ll know that I never say “no” to face masks. They are one of my favourite ways to unwind before getting ready to sleep. If you haven’t been using face masks, I urge you to start now. The benefits are huge especially if you are concerned with healthy ageing.
The right face mask will:

One of my passions is discovering fabulous products that no one is talking about and helping to spread the word about them. I was very excited when Calysta Labs reached out to me asking if I would try their Clarifying Charcoal Peel-Off Mask.
MUST TRY CLARIFYING CHARCOAL MASK
When I opened the container what struck me first was the consistency of the mask. It’s a rich black liquid that spreads smoothly and evenly and is extremely easy to apply.
The added menthol gives it a fresh scent which feels cool against my skin and allows it to be light and breathable while it dries.
After about 20 pampering minutes I peeled off the mask (can I just admit to loving a peel of mask, it’s so fun to take off) to find my skin super soft, glowing and with a trace of a light, minty scent. The best part was that I could still see the lasting effects of the mask the next day.
Let’s take a second to briefly go over some of the ingredients and what they actually do.
The green tea leaf extract, organic aloe leaf juice, jojoba seed oil and white willow bark extract are all natural anti-inflammatories.
Provitamin B5 naturally soothes and moisturizes your skin while Vitamin C repairs and regenerates the tissue and the Hyaluronic Acid infuses your skin with extra hydration.
Let’s not forget the title ingredient, charcoal. It’s gaining in popularity and you should consider adding it to your beauty routine. First and foremost it binds the impurities in your pores, helping to draw them out and giving your skin a deep cleanse. You’ll also find it to be a lifesaver if you suffer from occasional breakouts as it helps balance out your skin (especially in hot summer months when many of us tend to have oilier complexions.
I haven’t been using this mask for very long, but I can already tell that it will become a significant addition to my beauty routine. The pretty, minimalist packaging will look lovely in my bathroom but even more importantly it leaves my skin feeling soft and beautiful. When my complexion is at its best then I don’t have to wear so much makeup because my skin can shine through.
