BEST GIFTS FOR THE FASHION LOVER

I’ve been sitting here, trying to pick out gifts for everyone who is obsessed with fashion and pretty things, and you know, it isn’t easy. Sure, most of us probably wouldn’t say no to a new YSL bag or a pair of Louboutin pumps, but is that so realistic? I mean, those are fairly big purchases that need to be thought out (plus, if you are even remotely picky then you probably want to pick it out on your own). Of course, I’m not saying it can’t happen and if you are in a position to drop that kind of cash then great. Hey, I have a pair of Louboutin’s and they are the best, but it’s a purchase that I made and there wasn’t a big surprise involved. A great story, but no surprise.

While gift cards are always a great option, sometimes it’s fun to actually buy a present and I think that it’s the inspirational ones and the really useful ones that will be the most well received.  My advice would be that unless you know for sure it’s something she’s had her eye on and it’s something she really wants then it’s best to stick with a gift that’s perhaps not so extravagant, but beautiful and sophisticated nonetheless.

BOOKS

I’ve always been a fan of books in general and it’s no different when it comes to beautiful fashion books whose pages are filled with hundreds of stunning photographs. These are books that are sure to be treasured for many years. Not only are they about fashion, but they are also incredible works of art that can be proudly displayed anywhere.

JEWELRY

Jewelry can be really tough, especially if she’s picky. That isn’t to say that jewelry is off the table though. If you are unsure about what she likes then it’s best to stick with simple clean pieces.  A thin chain with a pretty charm or a streamlined bangle can easily be layered with more intricate ones and they will be classics for many years to come. Don’t overthink this gift. Find something that you love that speaks to you and there’s a better than good chance that she’ll love it too.

ACCESSORIES

One can never have too many accessories. They are the ideal way to change up a boring winter outfit and a gift she can wear and enjoy right now. Instead of sticking with something boring, why not choose a piece that she might not buy for herself, but one that will make her feel special by adding some luxury into her day. Gorgeous elbow length gloves will always be glamorous, an elegant shawl will brighten even the most dreary of winter days and a stylish new fedora will make her smile.
