Shopping FAQ In Style

This was super fun to do but really hard. I actually had to think about my answers.

My Shopping FAQ Answered!

Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?

No, I can stop anytime! Just kidding. I’m definitely a shop-a-dream-aholic. I don’t actually shop that much but I certainly think about it a lot.

How would you classify your style?

Clean lines with my favourite accessories but I try to never let the outfit wear me.  When in doubt I keep it simple.

What store can you NOT leave without buying something?

Sephora. I’m never disappointed when shopping there.

Where do you find the best deals?

I’m not actually a huge deal seeker. Don’t get me wrong, a great deal is much appreciated but usually I’m looking for a specific piece and since I don’t do a lot of impulse shopping what I’m seeking isn’t necessarily on sale. If I am looking for a deal, however, it’s most likely going to be online.

What designers are you willing to splurge on?

Louboutin. Yep, my nude sling backs are hands down the most expensive item of clothing I own. I was willing and I splurged and I love them. No regrets.

Do you have a ‘go to’ shopping outfit?

Really? A go to shopping outfit? Maybe if I had to stand in line all night. Nope, I’m pretty comfortable shopping in just about anything.

What is your guilty pleasure (not including clothes)?

Alright this is a toss up between chocolate and books…. Sometimes there’s nothing better than a great piece of chocolate melting in your mouth and sometimes there’s nothing better than curling up with a compelling book. I have a huge library of books and couldn’t live without them.

What is one piece of clothing you can’t live without?

A great bag. That may not be enough if I’m actually leaving the house, but it is what it is!

Who is your style icon?

I’m going to have to go with the classics on this one. A cliche maybe but Audrey Hepburn definitely and any movie star from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s…. If I need to pick someone current then I’m going to pick Stacy London. Maybe because it’s a great show and maybe because she once tweeted at me but definitely because I love her style.
